The “Bachelorette” Clare – Episode 1 Recap, Ratings, Yosef, & Luke Parker Thoughts – Reality Steve

I must admit, it was a bit strange watching the show again last night. Is it the first time in, how long, 10 years that we've had to wait that long between a season? Peter finished in March. It's a fucking October. And if anyone believes that March was actually 7 months ago, they are wrong. March 2020 was about 7 years ago in case you haven't noticed. Just think, there were days this franchise did NOT have a "Bachelorette Party" or BIP season. How do we function as human beings? It beats me. Well we're back on things and if you missed yesterday, or anything in the last 7 months, now you know that unless filming for the Matt James season that started last Saturday at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is suspended, we are watching essentially 6 consecutive months of Bachelor Nation programming. There will probably be a week or two off in December from the end of this season and the start of Matt, but that's it. So get ready, I'm telling you. & # 39; Much work ahead. There is a lot going on and with this show on Tuesday nights, things are a bit weird. As you saw yesterday, there aren't a ton of "Readers Emails". In the past, I could always tell you in Tuesday's digest to get your "Readers Emails." Now, I'll do it on Wednesday for something that won't be published until 6 days later. I hope you don't forget it. So keep that in mind.

I think one thing about last night was that they were grimacing at the drama. In terms of the drama of the first episode, Tyler C versus Yosef was 1. We've seen so many more dramatic controversies from Night 1 than that. That wasn't even tea. Or something. Now, was it true? Absolutely. But ultimately, Yosef is not a major player on this show, so he really becomes irrelevant. However, I do want to say something about what he was charged with. Was he emailing, DM, or texting multiple women before the show? Yes. Some have contacted me, I have seen their messages, etc. It is whatever it is for me and this is why. When the original cast released in March (of which Yosef was a part) had to leave filming due to COVID, none of them knew what the future held. You can't expect these guys to not go online and start going into town talking to women. He wasn't the only one who did. You probably made it with more than you should? Insurance. But all that "he was talking to me during quarantine", to me, honestly, it's not that important because none of these guys knew if or when they'd be back on the show. Are they not allowed to live their lives from March to June, when they probably found out they were coming back?

The problem with Yosef has more to do with what he does when he's on the show, not what he did before the show. That is peanuts. Yosef is showing his butt (not literally) this season and that's where you can judge if this guy is setting a good example for his 4-year-old daughter. Answer: It is not. And what he does and what he says to Clare says a lot more about him than anything he was doing before the show. He makes a fool of himself. And yes, in case you didn't know, the clip they've shown a thousand times in which Clare goes off saying "… by men like that!" is her response to Yosef after he attacks her. As I mentioned on podcasts and on my live IG, I have heard a lot of negative things about many of these men prior to the show. Nothing that is newsworthy as of now, just the basics you hear every season. I've also seen receipts for most of them. If there is something important coming my way, I will report it. But you should know that not all men are an angel, not all those who were throwing glorious compliments on night 1 really meant it, and take it for what it is: people who make a TV show and say things that they do good. sound fragments. I'm not saying it's all a lie, but let's go. ALL THE BOYS are there and they're so excited and they can't wait to fall in love with Clare? Please.

Tonight I'll be doing my weekly IG live with Ashley Spivey at 8ET / 5PT. It looks like it will probably be Wednesday in the future for now, but honestly, we do it from week to week. It all depends on the schedule. I know it's during Big Brother, but hey, it's almost over and, come on, this season hasn't been the best. Not to mention if you follow the broadcasts live, or what is being reported on them, you already know what is happening on Wednesday's episode in terms of who won the Veto and if they decided to use it. And again, this week's podcast guest tomorrow is Kat Dunn, who after appearing on the podcast on April 23 of this year, we started dating. So I wanted to do a podcast that we could both put out where we talked about whatever it was, drank wine, and played "Reply or Drink." Or whatever the hell we call it. Either way it was a good time, it lasts a little over 2 hours and we discussed Reddit. Fun times.

Many of you have seen the history of Luke Parker being sued by NZK Productions for $ 120,000 as a result of they are saying he violated his contract. We haven't heard from him thus far. I do not know if he’s combating this, when the cash is owed, if he has it, and so forth. However this can be a unhealthy search for the franchise, sorry. Sue your contestants? For actual? Particularly make an instance of an individual who did one thing that many different contestants earlier than him have performed as effectively? Present what this present thinks of its contestants. They actually don't pay them something, they exploit them on tv and do no matter they need, they return them to society with out providing any type of assist, then they put a good contract on them that claims: "We will do something for you, however you’ll be able to't. do nothing to us. " I feel Andy Dehnart from Actuality Blurred i said it best when he stated,

“However I discover it very disturbing that a manufacturing firm linked to Warner Brothers and ABC … is so petty and punitive that not solely wouldn’t it be content material to destroy a contestant on a nationwide stage, however now it forces him to pay to attempt to defend himself.

The truth that multibillion greenback companies revenue off folks after which not even enable them to speak about their experiences appears, I don't know, considerably lopsided. Why wouldn't they need the truth TV forged members to talk freely about their expertise? Do you’ve one thing to cover? "

That has all the time been my downside. I do know that no one is forcing them to go to the present. And sure, the contract clearly states what you’ll be able to and can’t say publicly after the present ends. Nonetheless, many contestants ignore it and the present picks and chooses who they’ll set an instance for. It's the worst contract anybody can signal to start with, and I even talked about this on Nick's podcast earlier than Mr.-Know-It-All and his producer scrapped it completely, who informed me the present has to guard itself. Ummm, in the event that they don’t have anything to cover, the present is natural, they usually aren't pressuring folks to do / say something, why would they’ve to try this? However, Luke might be simply remembering badly what occurred to him anyway. How may I be so silly? Look, Luke didn't do himself any favors for a number of the issues he stated and did on that present. You heard him on my podcast and you must decide him extra for that anyway. However that is extra in regards to the energy this program wields over whoever they need. Hideous in search of them to do that, I don't care who it’s.

The ratings are in and the premiere was on par with Hannah's premiere final Might on a very totally different evening. Final evening attracted four.7 million viewers and a score of 1.three. Hannah's premiere drew four.67 million viewers with a 1.three score. They should be proud of that. I feel usually once we get to November and December perhaps the weekly viewership improve received't be that prime, however this can be a good begin for them. Hannah might have drawn four.67 million and 1.three million on its premiere, however two and a half months later, its finale drew 7.four million viewers and a 2.1 score. That’s the key. How a lot do you construct through the course of your season? Certainly, the ending shall be greater than the premiere. All seasons are. The query is how a lot greater? I'm certain I'll comply with up each week. However I assure you that this can be a greater quantity than you anticipated for the premiere given what we’re going by way of for the time being.
