Well, as predicted yesterday, last night's episode was a lightning rod for social media. You can try to reason until you feel sad with me, but I absolutely do not understand the level of hate Clare receives. It puzzles me. And no, it has nothing to do with her being on my podcast three years ago. Do you have the right to be criticized? Absolutely. I mean the sheer hatred and virulence that people spew on Twitter, on Instagram in my post yesterday, on Bachelorette ABC accounts, etc. It's disgusting. We see it every season, and this one is no different, so I'm not going to highlight Clare. But he's literally had 3 episodes and it's like he's the worst human being ever. I do not get it. And the fact of the matter is, that plays a role in how people view the show. You don't have to love her as the lead. Hell, he doesn't even have to like her. But I said it at the beginning of my podcast last week, and I'll say it again: before I tweet something or post a comment somewhere, re-read what you wrote and ask yourself if I really need to post this. there? Is what I am offering my 17 followers really so necessary when it is filled with petty and disgusting hatred? Nobody says you are not allowed to have an opinion. But when all your opinions are apparently to shit on her, I don't know, maybe take a step back and reevaluate your life. Just say.
Remember this being posted on @BachelorNation IG's account two weeks before Clare's season started?
Here are a couple of problems with that message:
1) If you look at the comments below any post since Clare's season started on that page, I think there is 1 post that has over 100 comments. The page itself only has 183k followers. What I'm saying is that that IG page is not the main one people go to to leave trash / harassing comments.
2) The account @BacheloretteABC has 1.1 million followers. That's where most of the bullying happens. Go to that IG account. Click on any image. Read the 500 or so comments on any image and tell me if this show really cares about negativity or bullying towards its contestants, mainly Clare. SPOILER: Not so. It's disgusting what's there.
Some things we need to get to before moving on to last night's episode. First things first, something that has been asked a lot since last Wednesday's concert with Ashley and again after last night's edit, and that's the situation with Eazy. Once again last night he got the comic edit and everyone seems to want it. This is what I can report now. The woman who contacted me on opening night that I have been in contact with since then spoke to the legal team at NZK Productions last Friday for 90 minutes and told them everything she had to tell me about a previous experience with Eazy. So now the show is 100% aware of the allegations against it. Maybe because it was Friday when they spoke to her, it was too late to change the edition of this week's episode, I don't know. But now there are 8 days to go until next week's episode (which will air next Thursday instead of Tuesday due to election night), so it should be enough time to remove it from the episode. No ITM, no focus on his humor, nothing.
Of course they can't fully edit Eazy from the episodes because the show is already in the can and he was physically there. If it's a group date shot, of course it'll be in it. But MTV had the same situation last season when Dee's earlier tweets came back to haunt her, and MTV immediately parted ways with a contestant by putting a disclaimer at the beginning of the show, never giving Dee a confessional / ITM. the rest of the time he was on the show. It was like she wasn't even there even though she was. So let's see from episode # 4 moving forward how ABC chooses to handle this situation. I am the only medium that reports on this story. Hopefully, others will catch on and let it be known that ABC is aware of last Friday's allegations made against Eazy to his legal team. If you don't exclude yourself from the show and make it look like you're barely there, then, well, that will answer your question about how seriously the allegations are taken. And this woman told you everything she told me. If they don't take it seriously, they have some major problems.
I'll point out one thing before you start asking. No, he did not press charges at the time, and decided that he will not press charges in the future. This is something she knows she has to live with now, she was prompted to see it on TV again, but it is her decision what to do and she has done it. It doesn't make his accusations any less credible because he doesn't press charges. I have texted him numerous times, he has had to live with this incident since it happened, and it is not something that makes him happy. She made it known to me and the NZK legal staff, and it's not in the best of places right now. I feel sorry for her and hope NZK has enough compassion to show this guy as little as possible in the future and make sure he never participates in another show of hers again. Anything less is unacceptable and you can expect me to call them every week if it continues.
I'm sure you've seen it by now, but this past week quite a funny story came up around Dale when people saw him. once modeled for Party City. A bit humorous. Give him foolish costumes. The man has additionally modeled for among the prime sports activities manufacturers I've seen. Nevertheless, now after seeing that, perhaps I'll go as a taco for Halloween this yr. I imply, I really like tacos. Carbon studs. Get it? Humorous, I do know. I've solely heard that since highschool.
Additionally, as I reported final week, Abigail Heringer acquired her first impression from Matt whereas filming "Bachelor." Proper on the time I tweeted that, the native newspaper in Salem he interviewed his mother And we’ve got a little bit background on Abigail. I suppose probably the most outstanding factor in regards to the interview is that her mom mentioned that she was stunned that Abigail spoke about her listening to loss as a result of it’s not one thing she talks about lots, but when it impacts one individual, it’s price it. Both approach, Abigail's presence on this present, and being the primary impression recipient will increase, will go very effectively. I've already seen lots of responses about how glad individuals are that somebody like her seems on the present. Tweets, IG replies, and so on. All very constructive
