The “Bachelor” Matt – Finale & ATFR Thoughts, Emmanuel Acho as Host, & (EXCLUSIVE) Some of Katie’s Men This Season – Reality Steve

OK ok ok. I know why you all came here today. It's very obvious. Every year right now, everyone wants my latest and greatest scoop. Everyone wants that information that they can't possibly get anywhere else. Accurate, informative and behind-the-scenes information that, frankly, no one else has and you don't even have to pay for. I've been doing this for a while, and every time the finale of "Bachelor" airs, everyone comes begging for it. Like a dog waiting for its food. You know I have it, you know I am hanging it in front of you, and you are waiting in anticipation for me to give it to you so you can tell your friends and co-workers about it. It will make you the envy of your office or circle of friends. People will be amazed at your vast knowledge when you share it with them. Well, here it is. I'm talking about how everyone wants my pick from the Round 1 NCAA Tournament of the Guaranteed Lock of the Century. I have done this for the last 3 tournaments and have given them 3 winners in a row. Do I need to remind you?

2017: UNC-Wilmington (+8 ½) vs Virginia – Winner (lost 76-71)
2018: Loyola-Chicago (+4 1/2) vs Miami – Winner (won directly)
2019: UC Irvine (+4) over Kansas St. – Winner (won completely)

Last year, obviously, there was no tournament. But I was groggy with anticipation waiting for the lines to come out Sunday night in hopes of getting the line right, and boy was it ever. Although that line has been drastically shortened, I don't care. I think this team will win the game completely, so the points are just a bonus. Ohio (+7) over Virginia. Something to note here is that the line was +10.5 when it first appeared. It is the biggest line move so far in the tournament and there are a few reasons for it. 1) Virginia is on the COVID protocol at this time. They won't even practice as a team all week and will arrive in Indiana on Friday for their game on Saturday. Not to mention that some players (we don't know who yet) won't even play because they have COVID or are still tracking contacts. So I hope that line keeps falling once the names come out. 2) Ohio has one of the least recognized players in the tournament named Jason Preston. Just look. He could be the favorite of the tournaments and one day he will be an NBA draft pick. 3) The NCAA rules state that they will not disqualify any team as long as they can accommodate 5 players. So imagine if Virginia has to do that and you get +7 with the Bobcats. Not likely, but still a possibility, so there is a huge advantage in taking as many points as possible right now 4) As I mentioned earlier, healthy or unhealthy, when I saw this matchup, I thought Ohio was going to win the game completely. anyway. They are hot coming in, Virginia is the complete opposite AND they are not practicing all week. All teams of the season that have taken a break from COVID have NOT played well in their first game back. So give me Ohio +7 and on the money line. Let's see if I can do 4 tournaments in a row giving a first round winner.

And before I say, "Wow Steve, you really must hate Virginia, as now you've faced them twice in the last 4 years in the first round." The funny thing is that if I had faced them also in 2018, you would have had the biggest surprise in the history of the NCAA Tournament when UMBC bounced them in 16th place. However, if you remember the last tournament that was played in 2019, I said that when people asked me who to choose to win it all, the choice of value was Virginia. They had been defeated as No. 1 seeds the previous season, and NO ONE was picking them to bounce back and win it all. So if you chose to do it in your group, you were probably one of the only ones to do it. I know some of you emailed me listening to what I said and thanked me. So it's nothing against Virginia, but I think they have too much work against them right now with no practice, not getting to the day before the game, not knowing who's out for the game, and Ohio coming in really hot. with a player who can win a game without help for them in Jason Preston. I love this game. BONUS PICK: UCSB (+7) vs Creighton.

Ok, enough about my cool college basketball knowledge. Let's get back to what really came here: who I think will win the House and Senate elections in 2022. Just kidding. Have some notes to go over on this page, the next page will be all the contestants I've posted so far who are currently in quarantine and chances for Katie's season. I'd say one of the biggest stories about the upcoming season was the one I broke up last Friday:

I feel we're all a bit new, Chris Harrison wouldn't be the host of "Bachelorette" subsequent season. It was too early. However the query in current weeks has been who would change him? You've learn me right here, you've listened to me on IG lives with Ashley, and also you've heard me on my podcasts regularly say, I didn't know who I used to be going to be, however I at all times thought they might. change it with somebody from the franchise. And I mentioned that as a result of any veteran TV host already had a job that wouldn't enable them to take off for two months. To not point out, any respectable TV veteran wouldn't wish to be part of this franchise understanding they solely get 2 minutes of airtime per episode. Each time the names of Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan had been dropped, it made no sense. They work in New York 5 days every week, they’ll't simply rise up and go for a a lot, MUCH much less present for such a small position. Kaitlyn and Tayshia make sense to me. The irony although is that everybody is at all times speaking about how small Chris Harrison's position is and now you're changing it with TWO folks. It will likely be fascinating if all Kaitlyn and Tayshia do is current date playing cards, present up on group dates, after which present up at cocktails to say time's up.

There’s undoubtedly a household issue that they’re going to go along with subsequent season, which is critical. Nevertheless, the way in which issues are unfolding within the media, the dearth of response STILL from the manufacturing concerning the adjustments which were made behind the scenes, for me, all of it speaks at some stage in Chris Harrison returning. to this franchise. I imply hell, Chris Harrison was doing the voice-overs final night time for the present saying that Emmanuel Acho can be the host of the ATFR. I assumed he was on a break from the present? This was the assertion they launched a number of hours after I tweeted that Kaitlyn and Tayshia can be co-hosts subsequent season:

Maybe now that the season is over, Robert Mills will podcast somebody and verbally deal with all the pieces that occurred this season. I'm undecided. However man, this franchise continues to be doing the naked minimal as of now. Individuals need solutions and so they don't get them. That assertion isn’t sufficient, sorry. You gave virtually the very same kind of assertion final summer time promising racial range and inclusion, and whereas your final two casts had been probably the most racially numerous you've ever had, you failed it since you didn't know the way to truly produce it. . All we are able to do now, I assume, is wait till the subsequent few seasons play out and see if and the way the adjustments had been made. Let me inform you, I'm not getting my hopes up.
